Coronach: The Banshee

Hey Hey! Happy New Year! I wanted to share some design thoughts for the Banshee in my short comic story,Coronach! I was really proud of her design, and so wanted to show (and update) Some designy stuff I've hoarded for her! I wanted the open gap in the front of the design to mimic a very large, distended wailing mouth. With the crying pose of the woman seated ontop. I started with that pose, but the body had to sort of carry on...hence the multiple arms. I wanted to keep that dichotomy. I wanted the sadness to always feel present, but the creature herself still capable of functioning. A little allegory for grief I suppose.
